There are positive and negative ways that we can deal with stress. Stress can come from good events in our lives (starting school, making the soccer team, getting good grades, being able to go to a dance or a party etc…) OR stress can come from negative events in our lives (not fitting in with the “in crowd”, being sick, having to cook for the family, getting bad grades etc..)
The question I have for you is how do you personally cope with stress and how does that affect your performance in your life at school, home, and with others?
Some POSITIVE ways to cope with stress are: taking walks, writing in a journal, talking to others etc…
Some NEGATIVE ways to cope with stress that were mentioned: hitting things, hurting others and/or hurting yourself, swearing, yelling etc…

I usaully will hit walls, yell, go to sleep, go play games, go away from everyone, and work onmy computer.
Not to much except when my hands hurt, makes it harder to do things like type, write, etc.

i cope with stress by eating, reading,listening to music, hearing the voice of my girl friend, and one more thing is to express my feelings to some one. they are my ways to cope with stress

i cope with stress by yelling,and,punching things only sometimes but some other times i take deep breaths [only when i think about taking deep breaths tho].

I cope with stress by ignoring things that make me mad. Some times I take deep breaths and I also yell at people when they yell at me. It effects other people in ways that they get mad too.
